THE RUBENIAN LOGO
The Eye of Providence
The Rubenian Logo is an evolution of
many symbols that can be traced
back from the post Masonic era in
Europe and America, and from the
founding of Katipunan to the
establishment of the First Philippine
Republic. However, the group,
Rubenian International has nothing
to do or has no direct relationship in
whatsoever degree with the group
“Illuminati” that first used the
symbol of the “all-seeing eye” which
represents the “Eye of Providence.”
Basically, these signs or figures
already exist before man represents
them into icons or symbols.
Eye of Providence. The most appropriate representation of the eye inside the
triangular form radiating a glory is the all-seeing eye of God and not of
the eye of RA of the Egyptians. Although the two letters “RA” was
inscribed which may literally refers to sun god Ra, nevertheless this
has nothing to do with the ancient Egyptian religion. The all-seeing eye
was a common Christian symbol in Renaissance art and early
lithography. The eye itself represents the sun as the light giver in the
entire solar system. Without the sun, the eye will be nothing as it can
not see in the dark. The eye is purposely to see what the light
illuminates through its radiant. It can also be said that the sun is the
human eye in the sky. The sun also represents the all-seeing God who
sees everything. Thus, the eye goes with the sun as the former is the
other representation of the later.

With the evolution of the artistic representation of the sun many artists depicted
it with lines of glowing rays which portrays the radiating glory of God. Basically,
what is being portrayed is not the eye but the sun, which tells us that as long as
there is the sun that gives light God will know everything more than what the
eye can see. The all-seeing eye or the “Eye of Providence” is more on a higher
form of supernatural being than the eye of Ra which depicts only a lower form of
deity thus it is more appropriate to say so.
Triangular Form. Two explanations may describe what the triangle is all about.
This may be refers to the pyramid of Egypt which is the most common point of
reference when it comes to triangular form or it may refers to the form itself as
the form of strength or power. Triangle is the strongest compares to other
forms; circle, rectangle, square, etc. This is also commonly cited in the
Fibonacci Sequence, as shown below. This might be the reason why the
pyramid was built as it is than in any other forms.
(The Fibonacci Sequence)
In historical point of view, there are
three possible points of references to
any specific event; the past, the
present, and the future. Like, time
as defined as the “period or space
between two events” or the “yardstick”
that measures the event
between two periods. This signifies
that anything or any event will be
recorded and remembered by the
other events before and after. This
also represents the three
generations of mankind.
In March 17, 1897 the Philippine group of nationalists called Katipunan or KKK
(Kataas-taasan, Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan) used
the flag with the sun and a face on it. This is the question how and where the
katepuneros did got the idea of the sun and the face on it, or who inspired them
to use the said image? However, it can be said that the katepuneros got the
inspiration from other Filipino “ilustrados” who joined the Masonry in Europe.
Thus, it can be cited that the present Philippine flag although has no direct
influence from the group called “Illuminati” is in some degree drew an inspiration
from the ideals of spiritualism and brotherhood propagated by the said group. No
wonder why many Filipinos love to devote themselves to religious organizations
directed to social and political ends.

The Seal. From the founding of the First Philippine Republic in 1898 to the
present, the sun with the rays and the triangular form became indispensable
parts of the Seal of the President of the Philippine Republic. The sun maintained
the 8 rays which represent the 8 Katipunan provinces but lost the face to appear
it more nationalistic than Masonic in nature; the triangular form was presented in
the “form” itself and not of the pyramid with the same reason as the sun.
In the present Seal of the President of the Philippine Republic, we can notice the
three animals that were depicted: the eagle, the lion, and the sea lion, and these
are of different historical evolutions that can be also the subject of our interests.
