Here are some things to remember:

1. Your Page! This is probably one of THE most important parts! If your page isn't set up, you aren't as likely to get page views! Upload an interesting picture, of yourself, a funny picture you found somewhere, a picture you took, anything. It HAS to be eye catching... Your picture and your name are about the ONLY thing ANYONE will see of you anywhere on this site, if they aren't attention grabbing, who is gonna click them to view your page? If no one clicks them, how are you going to get page views and earn money? Make sure your page is NOT set to private... hello? how is anyone gonna view your page if its private? Who is gonna add you if your page is private? Anyone on the internet should take obvious precautions to keep their private info safe, so its not a big deal if your page is public right? Cause you aren't posting personal info!

2. Friends! Another very important part... getting friends... Obviously you need friends who are going to view your page frequently. The BEST friends to get are referrals, people who sign up under you... but we all know thats not as easy as it seems... The next best thing is finding friends who are already on the site! Don't get caught up in one of the many schemes out there (Trust me... been there, done that lol). The Yuwie Adder and those chain messages that go around... for one thing, Yuwie doesn't want you using those. The best way (for EVERYONE) is for you to actually browse around and add people manually... What I tell everyone In my downline... start with my page... Add everyone in my top friends, these are great people who I either know personally or have become friends with online and are great about trying to help you get page hits. After that, view all my friends and go through every page, add everyone who is online at that moment (Adding friends who are online is the QUICKEST way to get friends because they are already online, they will respond to your request in a matter of moments, and most people will view your page and leave a comment, or send a message shortly after accepting you!), After that, visit any of your friends pages and again, View all friends, and add everyone who is online. I do this daily! Also, check out my groups... Join some... Wall Of Friends is a good one... There are like 60 pages of people who want friends... Join there... go through and again, add anyone who is online (I added 50 people this morning just from that group using this method!)... Try to leave your computer logged into Yuwie as often as possible! My computer is logged into Yuwie all day and all night. I have DSL so it doesn't interrupt my phone access, the only time my computer is NOT logged into Yuwie is if my fiance closes the page on me (he doesn't usually but it does happen). Other people utilize the method of adding anyone who is online, so this helps maximize friend requests! Last, but certainly not least... NEVER and I mean NEVER deny a friend request! Unless you know the person and its not someone you want to add of course.... But really, if you are denying anyone you don't know, realistically, you're not going to get as many page hits, which lowers your earnings potential.

3. Be A Friend! View your friends pages often! I add everyone that I am closest to to my top friends, I add EVERYONE who requests to be added. I make sure to visit my top friends at LEAST once or twice a day... Leave a comment and check their blog and pictures while youre on their page! Help them get page hits! In return, they will do the same for you (At least thats what a good friend does...). When someone leaves you a comment or sends you a message, REPLY! Its not only common courtesy but a great way for us to help each other earn!

4. Refer Your Friends! I know, I know, thats what youve been doing... I know its not as easy as it sounds, Ive been trying since I started and have only managed to get 8 signed up... I have a total downline of 17 (my first 3 generations). Just keep at it... It does take time... I know this, Just keep telling everyone how much fun you're having thats the best way I have gotten referrals! I am also an active member in a number of forums... I dont go there to spam and TRY To get people to sign up or to sell anything, I make friends there, and then I share the info I have with them, this has gotten me a few signups for Yuwie and other things in the past. Spamming will just make people believe you are just in it for the money. Show them the person behind the computer monitor... let them know you can be a good friend, and they are more likely to be interested in what you have to say!

5. Be A Good Upline! You need to be supportive of your downline. Work hard to help them succeed! I add all of my referrals to my top friends and am sure to visit their page daily, at LEAST once. I try to leave a message when I go, but if I don't have time, I do at least make sure to visit. I also ask my other friends to add all of my top friends (so that my referrals can get more friends). Be sure to give your downline lots of advice and encouragement, help them be a good upline as well! By helping others succeed, you will succeed!

DO'S & DON'TS

Make sure your profile is NOT set to private in your settings. Since getting page views is how you make money, what kind of sense would it make to block people from seeing it. They won't come back.

DON'T:

Plaster banner ads of your biz ops all over your page or in notices! This will get your page blocked by Yuwie. Please read the TOS of Yuwie down at the very bottom of the page.

DO:

Dress up your page.
There are hundreds of great layouts up in the top toolbar under "LAYOUTS". Everything is all set up. Just pick one and it will show you what your page will look like. When you find one you like, click "USE THIS LAYOUT" at the top and it will be saved for you. If you ever want to see what everyone else sees when they visit you, just click on your own profile pic and it will come up. Make it interesting so people will want to come back.

Add pictures.

Upload your favorite pics of you, your family, your dog, your boat, your sister---whatever your world is about so people can get to know you. It also counts as a page view when people visit your pics.

Write blogs.
About anything you want. Life, love, hates, ticks, helpful hints to members. Whatever you think might bring people to your page.

Add friends.
Do this right away. Don't be shy, they may not come to you and ask. Go out and get em! I guarantee that 99% of the folks here are very friendly and more than willing to help you. If you're a female, it's ok to ask other female friends. Same for guys. It's not like the "other place" where people get suspicious of your requests. I told you you'd like it here!

Join clubs.
Find clubs that you are interested in and make helpful comments. This will get you recognition and people will come and visit your page.


WHAT IS A PAID PAGE VIEW?

When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you:
your profile page , your blog pages, view all your friends, view all your comments, your picture pages or one of your shared layouts.

When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view.
Any of your control panel pages including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favorites, etc.

The following does not count as a page view:
Refreshing/reloading a page
Any page that's viewed within 3 seconds of the last page doesn't count.

GETTING REFERRALS:

If you are here to make money, as well as make friends, getting referrals is  THE KEY. The most important key. Adding a lot of friends here is good, but the money IS IN GETTING NEW REFERRALS AND HELPING THEM! I cannot stress this enough. As you begin to bring people in, and help them, they will also bring people in and your tree will begin to grow. You must water it and nurture it if you want it to be a big tree. Take care of it (them) and it (they) will take care of you. The bigger money is in your 10th level and it may take you a little while to get there, but when you do, it will all be worth it.

In your control panel at Yuwie, you will see to the left 11 small icons. The 4th one in the top row is your referral tree linked icon. Click on it. You will see 4 red links. The last one is "Referral Tools". Click on that and you will find banner codes and your referral link which you can use in the lessons posted here in the club to bring in new members to add to your tree. You might want to add your banner to your shoutbox or somewhere on your page so if nonmembers come to visit & want to join they can use your link.

When an unreferred member signs up for Yuwie they are placed in an active members referral tree.

So you can get free referrals just for being active!


You can also win referrals by listening to Yuwie radio shows and taking part in the contests.

WHEN YOU GET A REFERRAL:

You should get an email to your email account telling you that you have a referral.
Go back to your referral tree icon in your control panel and click on it. The 3rd one down shows your referral tree. Click on it. Click on Level 1. Now you can see everyone you have referred. If you click on their name it will take you to their page.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Immediately send your referral a comment and a message welcoming them to Yuwie. Offer your help and assistance in answering questions.  In helping others in your referral tree you are also helping yourself.

Click on "INVITE A FRIEND" at the top of this page and go through your list of friends.

Make sure to invite everyone in your downline to be on your friends list.
Visit them regularly, leaving comments. It not only makes them feel welcome, but it is also helping you with your page views, since they are in your downline.

INACTIVE REFERRALS:

If you notice you have inactive referrals there is something you can do to reach them.  Yuwie has a system that emails you when you receive a private message.  This is set as default when you join.

Send an encouraging note, but don't go over board.  If you have no response after 3 messages, forget about that referral and move on.  Or wait a while and try again.  

A few encouraging messages and an offer to help could turn that inactive Yuwie Referral into a great downline addition.

Be determined in your search to build your network. Marketing is key to getting referrals and you should use as many types of marketing techniques as possible. The Top 10 Marketing Strategies, Offline Advertising, Viral Marketing and various other creative marketing methods will help in your search for more referrals. And don’t forget, keep searching for new ideas from fellow Yuwie Members in forums and blogs.

Have a goal of how many referrals you want in your network and keep working till you get it.

Prioritize what you want to do. It’s obvious that you need to email your friends first about Yuwie. After that, you’ll need a blog followed by a splash page for your marketing campaigns. So why would a new prospect join under you? What can YOU offer them which will be different from others before you think what can you gain from them in return? Our set thinking is that we help our downlines expand their network which in turns expand ours. More money for them means more for us. It’s a win-win relationship.

That is why, as of right now, we place Yuwie Recruiting Tips on our blog and ALSO on our splash page. Because of this latest move of adding Yuwie Referral Tips in our campaigns, our extended network is currently growing daily at a faster rate than our direct network and we’re hoping it will stay that way and overtake our overall direct referrals total in future.

"Habit 5: Seek First To Understand, Then To Be Understood"
Understand Yuwie. Read Yuwie FAQ, news updates on their official blog, posts from other bloggers, articles and forums. Learn how successful members explode their network and then reach out to new prospects by following or improvising their marketing efforts. It’s better than sitting down on the computer chair and hoping someone sign up under you by chance.

"Habit 6: Synergize"
Work with other bloggers, not compete with them. We are in the same boat so let’s ride it together. Feature their articles, ideas and links on your blog and they’ll do the same favor in return. Exchange links with other bloggers on your blogroll. Google likes it when you do that and place your site higher in their search engine.

"Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw"
Renew yourself. Relax, make new friends, take a break sometime and more importantly, enjoy the journey.
