This video is from the alien encounter of Dr Reed (Dr Jonathan Reed or John Rutter) which took place in October of 1996. As Rutter (Dr Reed) explained, his alien encounter originated in the Cascade Mountains east of Seattle near Snoqualmie Pass. While still in the mountains, Rutter came across the creature by accident while he and his dog were hiking in the forest. For unknown reasons his dog apparently attacked the creature. The creature, in reaction to the dog attacking it, began to defend itself. Rutter, seeing his dog was losing the battle with the creature, picked up a large tree branch and struck the creature in the head. Thinking he had killed it - he eventually ended up bringing the creature home. He later conducted and filmed an examination of it in his living room. After later reviewing the video, it was discovered that the creature had in fact been conscious while Rutter was filming - as you can see the creature blinking several times during the video. This is a portion of that video - which is perhaps the most compelling and astounding of all of his evidence. The slow motion and enlargement enhancements were produced by Jaime Maussan's group in Mexico City. Other than the slow-motion and video zooming, the content of the video was not modified in any way whatsoever. Again this is just a small excerpt from the original full length video, and it is slightly grainy due to the fact that it has been enlarged to make more details visible. Also, the clothing on the creature was very dark and the reflections it cast on the gold thermal blanket made its outline a bit hard to pin down visually. Rutter says that he believed it escaped of its own accord. The freezer he had been keeping it in wasn't locked, so it could have easily left any time that it wanted to. So apparently that is what it did. As others will undoubtedly comment, there is a good deal of criticism and negative info out there in regard to this case, but you have a right to view the evidence and judge for yourself. So watch with an open mind, and if you find it compelling - great. If not, then that's fine too.

After bringing the creature home and later discovering that it was still alive, Rutter ( Dr Reed ) came to the conclusion that the creature did not have any intentions to hurt him, and so he began to try to communicate with the creature - offering it water, food, etc. He recorded this on an audio tape because the creature seemed to prefer darkness and the creature became panic-stricken when it was exposed to any kind of bright light (perhaps as a result of its severe head injury). So he opted to just set an unobtrusive audio tape on a table near the creature and record his communications with it.

Sometime shortly after returning to the Pacific Northwest after his San Diego presentation, Rutter ( Dr Reed ) was shot in the left shoulder by an unknown assailant in a public parking lot. A man walked up to Rutter, pulled out a gun and forced it into his chest. Rutter instinctly grabbed the barrel of the gun and pushed it to the side. Unfortunately when he did that, the gun discharged. His assailant calmly holstered his gun and strode quickly away towards a waiting van - leaving Rutter collapsed and bleeding against a car. Rutter says that he doesn't believe the man who shot him actually intended to shoot him. Instead, he believed that the person was trying to abduct him, perhaps for an interrogation or something. In any case, shortly after the shooting one of his friends convinced him to document his wounds as proof of the assault. This video is part of that documention
This video is from the alien encounter of Dr Reed (Dr Jonathan Reed or John Rutter). Rutter ( Dr Reed ) had a camera and a camcorder in his backpack. So he hastily filmed and photographed everything at the scene of the encounter. Afterwards, he decided that since he believed the creature was dead, he would wrap it up in his emergency thermal blanket and take it home - and later decide what his next step would be. As he was rolling the creature into the blanket he noticed something shiny on the ground nearby. By its strange hieroglyphic-like markings and unusual shape, he immediately deduced that it belonged to the creature - and so he wrapped it up with the creature as well. Since the creature only weighed about 40 lbs or so, he was able to use one arm to carry the creature using the straps of the thermal blanket - and he used his other arm to carry his backpack to help balance against the weight of the creature while he hiked back to his vehicle. When he arrived home and eventually unwrapped the creature, there was the metallic object that he ultimately named the Link Artifact. Although there is no way to know for sure, he believed that it was some sort of communication device that the creature wore on its arm. He speculated that it may have been some sort of "link" to either the black obelisk floating nearby or perhaps a link to his "co-creatures"...which is why he named it the Link. The hieroglyphic-like black symbols on the surface of the Link are not painted on. They are actually sticking up through an opening in the metal, similar to buttons - but they don't actually depress. Also, the black surface of each symbol has a somewhat gritty texture - almost like the texture of sandpaper.
When Rutter was videotaping the creature on his living room floor, he accidentally stepped on the power cord of his camcorder. The noise from the trip must have startled the creature because immediately thereafter his left eye peeks open and then re-closes. The spontaneity of this occurence is yet another piece of compelling evidence in support of this case. If you are to think that this has been somehow faked then you must believe that someone went to extreme measures to ensure this came off as realistic. I personally think this is even more compelling than the "Creature Blinking" video I posted earlier - because it is evidence of the creature exhibiting an involuntary reflex that would have been nearly impossible to have intentionally orchestrated via trickery. I mean really - who would even think to do such a thing?
This video is from the alien encounter of Dr Reed (Dr Jonathan Reed or John Rutter). While the creature was still unconscious, Rutter decided to look more closely at the head wound. He set up his camera, put on some medical gloves and carefully examined the wound. There are a couple of places in the video where you can actually hear the creature make some utterances - so perhaps it was not completely unconscious. It's hard to say. I included a still photo inset on the lower left because the video was a little dark and difficult to see in detail. Watch the inset closely because I also zoom up on the wound so that you can see the intricate brain convolutions and wetness of the wound. Sorry about the graphic nature of this but it is part and parcel to helping others understand this extraordinarily complicated case.

According to Rutter's testimony, while hiking in the Cascades, his dog ran ahead of him on the trail they were hiking on and disappeared. Shortly thereafter, he heard his dog engaged in what sounded like a battle with something. When he first came into view of his dog, he saw that his dog had ahold of some sort of creature that was shaking violently - apparently in an attempt to release itself from the dog's jaws. However, when the creature saw Rutter, something came off its arm near where the dog had ahold of it and wrapped itself around his dog's head. The dog began to rapidly disintergrate and quickly turned into a fine white powder. This video shows the powdered remains of the dog. The first part of this video contains (3) frame grabs grouped together that show the powdered remains of Rutter's dog. These frame grabs are from a location that is not very close to the location of the remains and so it is not that easy to see any detail. However, the second part is a single frame grab where Rutter was standing right over the dog's remains and you can easily see the white powder on top of some plants, sticks and leaves.
