Today a friend on here inspired me to share some of my poetry, so here it is!

I wish that I could find a way

To say just what I feel

The way you take me to a world

Where nothing seems quite real

The way your smile lights up a room

Your laughter cheers my heart

And though I didn't know it

I loved you from the start

Your brighten up the darkest days

And warm the coldest nights

You sweep my right up off my feet

And take me to new heights

Every time that we make love

The passion burns in me

Until we reach a heaven

I never thought I'd see

You treat me like a lady

And you are my best friend

You're everything I've dreamed of

And the love will never end

I love you with my heart and soul

This love just feels so right

And constantly I miss you

When you are out of sight

Now don't you worry baby

We're going to make it through

I know as each day passes

The one for me is you

I know it won't be easy

But our love is so strong

That when the worst is over

Then nothing will be wrong

We can ride into the sunset

Like old fashioned lovers do

Laugh away the hours

And love our whole lives through
