| I ALWAYS like to meet new people. I'm a builder of churches. We are building a new church in the Dallas area. For this one we will Senior Pastor for atleast 25 years. My wife and I have done everything from throwing away the trash to Senior Pastoring a church and we love it. You will love the ministry. Someone asked me what I thought would be a good life ambishion that would pay good and that they will be fulfilled in their retirment and I said, "Get into the ministry."
I was called to the ministry at the age of 12 and I started building the ministry when I was 19. I build my first Christian TV station in Puerto Rico when I was 19-20 (it is still preaching the gospel and I'm 41 today). I've built many stations to date and several churches. I would recommend this life to everyone. There is a fraze I use to help describe the walk of faith...here it is "Faith produces GREAT things...but the walk is for the birds." Here is what that means. Faith produces everything you need; cars, houses, health, peace, joy, etc. But James 1 teaches that the trying of our faith produces patience. This is because when we are believing for something it takes time and sometimes it looks like that we will not receive it but if we do not lose heart it will surely comes. After 22 years of ministry I have seen that everything I am believing for looks like it may not happen until it is time then it comes quickly, completely and with a great testimony. I've learned that is what the Lord really wants is "The Story" more then the receiving. It's the Story of the walk that is important to him. The receiving WILL happen but He is more pleased with the walk TO receive. We love the receiving but he loves the walk...and I guess that is what makes it a great marriage. He says in Hebrews 11:6 That it is our faith that pleases God. Keep walking in faith fully pleasing Him and you will have in abundance more and more (1 Thess 4:1)
Thanks for reading and stay blessed,
Peace,
